Day Trip to Veranópolis & Vila Flores

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Caxias do Sul at 8:30 am and head northwest to Veranópolis. The first stop will be Vila Flores, where we will enter the Atelier L'arte Ceccato, a ceramics workshop, for a Walking Therapy activity. The family running the workshop will guide us through their gardens and an open-air eco-museum.

Next, we will visit Vila do Pão, an artisan market selling bread, cookies, and jams, followed by a tour at Cave dos Frades winery, where we will learn about the winemaking process and regional wine characteristics.

Before leaving Vila Flores, you will have an hour of free time for lunch at a local restaurant. Following lunch, we will proceed to Veranópolis, known for having the third longest average lifespan globally.

In Veranópolis, we will see the monument commemorating Italian immigration, the Matrix church, and the Fountain of Longevity in the city center. We will also visit Bella Città Emporium and the Saretta House, a World Heritage Site.

Finally, we will tour Simonetto Winery for a tasting of their products, and conclude the tour at Espigão Belvedere, a viewpoint to enjoy the surrounding nature. We will return to your hotel at 5:30 pm.
