On this craft beer and wine tour of Farroupilha, we'll sample these spirits and learn about the history of this town in Rio Grande do Sul.

Tour Details

Pick-up will be at your hotel in Caxias do Sul at 8:45 am for a drive to Farroupilha, known for its brewing and winemaking tradition.

Our first stop will be the Cave Antigua winery of the Tafarell family, where we'll explore its facilities and museum to immerse in the local wine culture.

After a short drive, we'll visit the Blauth Bier craft brewery. Here, we'll learn about the family's legacy in Farroupilha, from the construction of one of the first hotels in the state to craft beer production. Following this visit, we'll proceed to Amazém do Desvio for a tea tasting and a picnic break.

Next, we will tour the Chesini winery, where we'll discover the so-called Holy Wine of the region. This will include a symbolic cleansing of hands and the sharing of bread and wine.

There will be a one-hour break for lunch on your own to experience Farroupilha's gastronomy.

After concluding the visits, we will return to Caxias do Sul, arriving around 5 pm to drop you off at your hotel.
