Maria Fumaça Train+ Bento Gonçalves Winery Visit

We will pick you up at your hotel in Caxias do Sul at the designated time and head to the station to board the Maria Fumaça steam train.

This early 20th-century locomotive operated until the 1970s. Along the route, you will learn about the Italian culture's traditions and customs present in the region. The tour includes wine, juices, and sparkling wine tastings.

We will stop in Carlos Barbosa to attend an Italian show that narrates the stories of European immigrants who settled in southern Brazil. At the end of the show, enjoy an artisanal cookie and grape juice.

Next, we will visit the Epopeia Italiana theme park, which features nine life-size sets illustrating the story of an Italian immigrant couple. During the show, a homemade cookie will be served.

In the afternoon, there will be time to enjoy local cuisine. Our last stop is a winery in Bento Gonçalves, where you will learn about grape growing and winemaking. Participation in a tasting of the local wine is included.

We will conclude the tour and return to the starting point 10 hours later.
