2-Day Trip to Cappadocia by Plane

On this 2-day trip to Cappadocia, you'll fly from Istanbul to one of Turkey's most famous sites.

2-Day Trip Details

Day 1

You will be collected from your hotel in Istanbul and transported to the airport for your flight to Cappadocia. After landing in Kayseri or Nev?ehir airport, you will begin your tour with a hike through Kizilcukur Valley to admire the landscape and unique rock formations. Next, you'll visit Cavusin, noted for its traditional architecture.

Your lunch will take place at a local restaurant, allowing you to try Turkish cuisine at your own pace. The day continues with a tour of the underground city of Kaymakli, an ancient refuge for Christian communities, showcasing stables, a church, large halls, and family bedrooms.

The day concludes with dinner at your hotel.

Day 2

The second day starts with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a tour of Göreme Valley, famous for its Fairy Chimneys and historical stone churches with 10th and 11th-century paintings. You will then visit the Uçhisar cave town for its unique landscape, including Avcilar.

Next, you'll explore Derbent Valley and visit artisan workshops to learn about the creation of Turkish carpets and precious stone jewelry, including Onyx. At the end of the trip, you will be returned to the airport for your flight back to Istanbul, followed by a transfer to your hotel.

The pickup from your hotel in Istanbul will be between 5 am and 6 am, subject to change by season. The exact pickup time and flight details will be confirmed the day before your trip.

Hotel Pickup

Pickup is available at hotels in the central Istanbul zones: Bayrampa?a, Be?ikta?, Beyo?lu, Eminönü, Eyüp, Fatih, Ka??thane, ?i?li, and Zeytinburnu. If you are outside these areas, you should proceed to the meeting point at The Marmara Taksim Hotel 5*.
