2-Day Trip to Cappadocia by Plane

On this 2-day trip to Cappadocia, you'll fly from Istanbul to explore a significant site in Turkey.

2-Day Trip Details

Day 1

You'll be collected from your hotel in Istanbul and taken to the airport for your flight to Cappadocia. After arriving at Kayseri or Nev?ehir airport, you will be welcomed to this unique region.

Your tour begins with a hike through the Kizilcukur Valley, where you'll view the landscape and rock formations. Then, you'll visit the town of Cavusin known for traditional architecture.

Lunch will be at a local restaurant, followed by a visit to the underground city of Kaymakli, which historically provided refuge for Christian communities against invaders. You will see various areas, including stables and a church.

The day concludes with dinner at your accommodation.

Day 2

The second day starts with breakfast at the hotel. You'll tour the Göreme Valley, home to Fairy Chimneys and stone churches with 10th and 11th-century paintings.

Next, you will visit Uçhisar cave town and see the landscape of Avcilar. Afterward, you'll explore the Derbent Valley and visit artisan workshops focused on Turkish carpets and Onyx jewellery.

At the end of the trip, you'll return to the airport for your flight back to Istanbul, followed by a transfer to your hotel.

Pickup from your hotel in Istanbul is scheduled between 5 am and 6 am, subject to change based on the season. The exact pickup time and flight details will be confirmed the day before the trip.
