Day Trip Details

After picking you up from your hotel in Istanbul, we'll head to the airport you have selected to board one of the first flights to Izmir, the third-largest city in Turkey. In about 60 minutes, we'll reach our destination.

Once we land, we'll hop on a vehicle that will take us to Ephesus. Our first stop will be the House of the Virgin Mary, believed to be the last residence occupied by the mother of Jesus Christ. You'll learn about the significance of this well-preserved building.

Next, we'll visit the ruins of Ephesus, a city dedicated to Artemis, including the Odeon, Temple of Hadrian, House of Love, Library of Celso, Agora of Smyrna, Marble Road, and the Theatre. This open-air museum reflects the Roman Empire's influence in Europe.

After a buffet-style lunch, we'll head to the Temple of Artemis, where only the ruins remain. This monument, now among the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World, holds cultural significance for the citizens of Ephesus.

You'll also see the blend of cultures in the area, evidenced by the Isa Bey Mosque, which features an impressive marble facade.

Afterward, we'll return to the airport in Izmir for your return flight to Istanbul, followed by drop-off at your hotel.
