Troy Day Trip

On this day trip to Troy from Istanbul, we will explore the ancient city that combines reality with mythology.

Description

At the specified time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Istanbul and travel west to the city of Troy. We will first reach Eceabat on the Dardanelles shore. A break will be made along the way, and upon arrival, you will have free time for breakfast at a local restaurant.

We will then take a 25-minute ferry to Çanakkale. After disembarking, we will board a minibus to continue to our final destination for a Tour of Troy!

At Troy, we will explore the archaeological zone, including the city’s defensive walls, altars, remains of houses, and a replica of the Trojan Horse. We will delve into the reality and myths of the Trojan War and uncover the secrets of the Iliad of Homer.

After this historic visit, we will return to Çanakkale to take the ferry back to Eceabat. A lunch at a local restaurant will follow before we start our journey back to Istanbul, arriving 18 hours after the initial pickup.

Hotel Pickup

This day trip includes hotel pickup and drop-off from hotels in the Taksim or Sultanahmet areas. Please be ready for pickup between 6:00-6:20 am in Taksim and 6:30-7:00 am in Sultanahmet.

If your hotel is outside these areas, we will contact you to arrange a meeting point nearby.
