The ticket to Castle Voltaire in Ferney-Voltaire grants access to the home where the intellectual spent his final 20 years. The town was renamed to honor the philosopher.

Behind the elegant neoclassical façade, there is a museum space dedicated to Voltaire, showcasing his day-to-day life during the Age of Enlightenment, including his private collection of artwork. Visitors can explore his library and office where he wrote notable works like Candide and Treatise on Tolerance.

A visit is incomplete without exploring the French-style gardens that cover seven hectares of land, offering a tranquil escape from urban life.

Final admission is 45 minutes prior to closing.

Young people from the European Union aged 18 to 25.Children under 18, regardless of nationality.

To obtain free admission, visit the ticket office and present a certifying document for eligibility. Free admission is also available to all on the first Sunday of the month from January 1 to March 31, November 1 to December 31, and the third weekend of September.
