Castle Voltaire Ticket

The ticket grants access to Castle Voltaire in Ferney-Voltaire, which honors the renowned philosopher. The elegant neoclassical façade houses a museum dedicated to Voltaire. Here, visitors can experience his daily life during the Age of Enlightenment, view his private collection of artwork, and explore his library and office where he authored works such as Candide and Treatise on Tolerance.

Visitors should not miss the French-style gardens that cover seven hectares, providing a tranquil escape from city life.

Castle Voltaire operates during the following hours:

April 1st to September 30th: 10 am - 6 pmOctober 1st to March 31st: 10 am - 5 pmDecember 24th and 31st: closing at 4 pm

Final admission is 45 minutes before closing time.

Free Admission

Admission is free for:

Young people from the EU aged 18 to 25.Children under 18, regardless of nationality.

To obtain free admission, visit the ticket office with a certifying document. Free entry is also available on the first Sunday of the month from January to March and November to December, as well as the third weekend of September.
