Fethiye Market & Kayaköy Tour

From one of the liveliest places in the city to an abandoned village. On this tour of the Fethiye market and Kayaköy, we'll discover the contrasts of the Turkish southwestern coast.

Description

At 9 am, pickup will be from your hotel for a drive to the most famous market in Fethiye. The Fethiye market is the largest in the province of Mu?la, offering spices, fruits, vegetables, traditional sweets, and handicrafts. Enjoy two hours of free time to shop and engage in bargaining with vendors.

We will then continue with a half-hour drive to the abandoned village of Kayaköy. As we explore its ruined buildings, we will discuss the history of this site, built over an ancient Greek city called Carmylessus. The ghostly streets also echo stories of fires, earthquakes, and the conflict between Turks and Greeks.

Between 5 pm and 6 pm, we will return you to your hotel in Fethiye.

This tour includes pickup from hotels in the following areas of Fethiye: Calis, Fethiye, Hisaronu, Oludeniz, Ovacik (excluding Casa Margot, Liberty Fabay, Majesty Tuana Hotel, Lykia Botanika Hotel, Hillside Beach Club, Club Hotel Letoonia, and Barut Sensatori Hotel). If your hotel is outside these areas, a supplement charge of 7EUR per person is required, payable at pickup.
