Fethiye Market & Kayaköy Tour

From one of the liveliest places in the city to an abandoned village. On this tour of the Fethiye market and Kayaköy, we'll discover the contrasts of the Turkish southwestern coast.

Description

At 9 am we'll pick you up from your hotel and drive to the most famous market in Fethiye. In just a few minutes we'll arrive at Fethiye market, the largest market in the province of Mu?la. Spices, fruits, vegetables, traditional sweets, handicrafts... You'll enjoy two hours of free time to shop. Be prepared to bargain with the vendors.

We'll continue the tour with a half-hour drive to the abandoned village of Kayaköy. As we walk among its ruined buildings, we'll share the history of this place, built over an ancient Greek city called Carmylessus.

Walking through its ghostly streets, we'll also discuss its history involving various events such as fires, earthquakes, and a war between Turks and Greeks.

Between 5 pm and 6 pm, we'll drop you back at your hotel in Fethiye.

This tour includes pickup in hotels located in: Calis, Fethiye, Hisaronu, Oludeniz, Ovacik (except Casa Margot, Liberty Fabay, Majesty Tuana Hotel, Lykia Botanika Hotel, Hillside Beach Club, Club Hotel Letoonia and Barut Sensatori Hotel).

If your hotel isn't in these areas, a supplemental charge of 7EUR per person applies to be paid at pickup.
