From one of the liveliest places in the city to an abandoned village. On this tour of the Fethiye market and Kayaköy, we'll discover the contrasts of the Turkish southwestern coast.

Description

At 9 am, we will pick you up from your hotel and drive to the most famous market in Fethiye. We will arrive at Fethiye market, the largest market in Mu?la province, where you can explore spices, fruits, vegetables, traditional sweets, handicrafts, and interact with locals. Enjoy two hours of free time for shopping and bargaining with vendors.

Next, we will travel for half an hour to the abandoned village of Kayaköy. While walking through its ruined buildings, we will discuss its history, including its origins as an ancient Greek city called Carmylessus.

As we navigate its ghostly streets, we will recount significant historical events, including fires, earthquakes, and conflicts between Turks and Greeks.

Between 5 pm and 6 pm, we will return you to your hotel in Fethiye.
