Fez Private Sightseeing Tour

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel or riad in Fez and head to the city center for a private tour of the old town. We will explore iconic sites in the Old Medina on foot.

Main attractions include the Bab Bou Jeloud Gate and the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum. We will visit old madrasas, funduqs, and the Quaraouine mosque-university, recognized as the first multidisciplinary university worldwide.

We will pass through residential neighborhoods such as the Al-Andalus neighborhood and Quaraouin neighborhood, observing ancient hammams, public ovens, fountains, mosques, and children's nurseries ("msid").

The tour will unveil stories behind the narrow streets and cultural aspects of the inhabitants. In the Old Medina, we will observe the work of tanners, carpenters, weavers, and dyers.

After a lunch break, a panoramic tour of Fez will commence in a car or minibus, depending on group size. We will first visit the Royal Palace, learning the legends surrounding it.

Next, we will explore Mellah, Fez's Jewish neighborhood, and then the Borj Sud neighborhood for exceptional views of the city.

After 6 hours of exploration, the tour concludes at either Rcif Square or Oued Zhoun Square, allowing you to continue exploring independently. The itinerary will be adjusted to fit your interests.
