Merzouga Desert 2-Day Trip

Day 1: Fez - Ifrane - Azrou - Erfoud - Merzouga

After meeting in Fez or hotel pickup, we will leave for the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through Ifrane and Azrou. Next, we will cross Ziz Valley and Ziz Gorges to reach Erfoud, initiating our desert journey to Merzouga.

As evening approaches, we will ride camels to our camp, where we will have dinner under the moonlight and enjoy the Moroccan desert's tranquility and starry sky.

Day 2: Merzouga - Rissani - Alni - Tizi N'Tfrkhin - Ouarzazate - Marrakech

We will wake up early to experience the sunrise in Erg Chebbi. Following this, we'll ride camels back to a hotel for breakfast and a shower (timing dependent on camp choice).

After departing the desert, we will head to Marrakech, passing through the Tafilalet palm grove and Rissani, the origin of the Alaouite dynasty. We will continue through acacia plateaus, Alnif, the Anti Atlas mountain range, and Dades Valley.

Around noon, we will stop at Klaat M'Gouna for a meal before continuing our journey. We will visit Ouarzazate and the High Atlas Mountains before arriving in Marrakech around 8:30 pm to conclude our experience.

Alternative to Camel Ride On Day 2

For those preferring not to ride camels from the dunes to the camp, a 4x4 option is available for an additional fee of €65 paid on-site.

Camps

This tour includes standard camps with communal showers or superior camps with private bathrooms. Haimas are available in double, triple, or family configurations.

Hotel pickup is included for accommodations within the Medina, with additional charges for pickups outside this area.
