Merzouga Desert 2-Day Trip

Day 1: Fez - Ifrane - Azrou - Erfoud - Merzouga

After meeting in Fez, we will leave the city and traverse the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through Ifrane and Azrou. We will cross the Ziz Valley and Ziz Gorges to reach Erfoud, then embark on our journey to Merzouga. As evening falls, we will ride camels to our camp, where we will enjoy a traditional dinner under the stars and experience the tranquility of the desert night.

Day 2: Merzouga - Rissani - Alni - Tizi N'Tfrkhin - Ouarzazate - Marrakech

We wake early to witness the sunrise in Erg Chebbi. Afterward, we will ride camels to a hotel for breakfast and shower (depending on the selected camp, this can occur pre-ride). We will then travel to Marrakech, passing through Tafilalet and Rissani, the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty. We will continue through the Anti Atlas and Tizi N'tfarkhin, reaching Tinghir and the Dades Valley. Around noon, we will have a break in Klaat M'Gouna for traditional Moroccan cuisine. We will conclude our journey, admiring Ouarzazate and the High Atlas Mountains, arriving in Marrakech around 8:30 pm.

Alternative to Camel Ride On Day 2

There is an option to ride from the dunes of Erg Chebbi to the camp. For those preferring not to ride, a 4x4 option is available for an additional fee of €65, payable on-site.
