After being picked up from your accommodation in Fez at the scheduled time, we will embark on a journey to the Moroccan capital, located just a two-hour drive away.

Upon arrival, you'll have some free time to discover Rabat's ancient Medina at your own pace. This area is renowned for its rich architectural heritage and pristine preservation, which earned its World Heritage Site status in 2012.

During your exploration, you can visit the esplanade which features the striking Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. The minaret's construction was left incomplete in 1199, and during the tour, you'll uncover the reasons behind this. As you explore the site, insights into the artistic decisions surrounding the architectural design of the tomb will be shared.

In close proximity to the mausoleum and tower, the Kasbah of the Udayas awaits. This 12th-century citadel conceals many intriguing secrets within its walls. After approximately 1 hour for lunch, we will resume our exploration of the Moroccan capital, visiting the royal palace of Rabat, famous for its iconic main gateway, one of the most well-known in the country.

The trip concludes with free time to explore the fortified necropolis of Chellah, where remnants will take you back to the Roman, Carthaginian empires, or even the Phoenician civilization. Finally, we'll return to Fez, wrapping up the day after about 11 hours.
