Cocora Valley Day Trip & Horse Riding

At your chosen time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Filandia and take our minibus to the Guadalajara Reserve. Upon arrival, we'll enjoy a pleasant horse ride along the mountains and streams.

From the saddle, you'll see excellent views of the reserve. We'll trot past viewpoints, cross streams, and learn about the history of this coffee-growing region.

After riding, we'll head to the Cocora Valley, home to wax palms, Colombia's national tree. We'll learn about these plants as we ride through this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Next, we'll use the 'wallys', vehicles designed for coffee plantations, to explore the Cocora Valley while discussing its flora and fauna. We'll also stop for a typical Colombian lunch from the coffee-growing axis.

We'll then return to the minibus for the trip back to your hotel in Filandia, arriving 6 hours after the start of the tour. See you next time!
