Cocora Valley Day Trip & Horse Riding

At your chosen time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Filandia and take our minibus to the Guadalajara Reserve. In this natural environment, we'll take a horse ride along the mountains and streams, enjoying views of the reserve. We'll trot past viewpoints, cross streams, and learn about the history of this coffee-growing region.

After the horse ride, we will proceed to the Cocora Valley, which features wax palms, the national tree of Colombia. We'll discuss the characteristics of this plant while riding through this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Next, we'll use 'wallys', vehicles common in coffee plantations, to explore the Cocora Valley and learn about its flora and fauna. Afterward, we'll stop for a meal featuring a traditional lunch of the Colombian coffee growing axis.

Finally, we will return to the minibus and drive back to your hotel in Filandia, completing the trip approximately 6 hours after departure.
