Milford Sound Excursion

After picking you up at the scheduled time in Te Anau, we'll head north to visit Milford Sound.

The minibus ride to the Milford Sound fjord will take an hour and a half. Along the way, we'll make several stops for photos and short walks to admire the landscapes of southern New Zealand.

Lush forests, Lake Te Anau, the Mirror Lakes, and the Eglinton Valley are among the highlights of our tour.

Continuing along Milford Road, we'll find Gunn Lake and nearby the Hollyford River and Falls Creek. Upon arrival, we'll transfer and set off on a 2-hour boat ride on Milford Sound.

During the cruise, we'll see huge waterfalls cascading down the fjord's mountains. We may also see endemic birds, sea lions, penguins, and even dolphins.

Before concluding the tour, we'll take time for a picnic lunch. Afterward, we'll return to the mainland with more stops at viewpoints for pictures.

The excursion will finish at your hotel in Te Anau, approximately 9 hours after pickup.
