Following your pickup at the designated time in Te Anau, we will begin our northward expedition towards one of New Zealand's most stunning natural marvels: Milford Sound.

The minibus journey to the Milford Sound fjord spans approximately one and a half hours. En route, we will make multiple stops for photographs and leisurely walks to soak in the breathtaking landscapes of southern New Zealand.

Among the highlights of the initial phase of our tour are vibrant forests, the picturesque Lake Te Anau, the captivating Mirror Lakes, and the expansive Eglinton Valley.

As we continue along Milford Road, we will encounter Gunn Lake, followed closely by the Hollyford River and Falls Creek. Upon reaching our destination, we will transition to another mode of transport and embark on a 2-hour boat cruise through Milford Sound. This exceptional site is recognized as a World Heritage Site!

During our cruise, we’ll observe majestic waterfalls cascading from the towering cliffs that encircle the fjord. The beauty here defies description! If fortune smiles upon us, we may also spot endemic birds, sea lions, penguins, and even dolphins.

By this point, you’ll likely have developed a good appetite! Before concluding our outing, we’ll take a moment to unwind and enjoy a delightful picnic lunch.

Afterwards, we will head back to the mainland, stopping at several viewpoints along the way to capture spectacular photographs.

In conclusion, we’ll wrap up the excursion back at your accommodation in Te Anau around 9 hours post pickup.
