Milford Sound Excursion

After picking you up at the scheduled time in Te Anau, we will travel north to Milford Sound.

The minibus ride to the fjord will take an hour and a half. Along the way, we will make several stops for photos and short walks to admire the landscapes of southern New Zealand.

Highlights of the tour include lush forests, Lake Te Anau, the Mirror Lakes, and the Eglinton Valley.

Continuing along Milford Road, we will pass Gunn Lake, as well as the Hollyford River and Falls Creek. Upon arrival, we will switch to a boat for a 2-hour cruise on Milford Sound.

During the cruise, we will view waterfalls cascading down mountains and may also spot endemic birds, sea lions, penguins, and even dolphins.

Before concluding the tour, we will take a break for a picnic lunch.

Afterward, we will return to the mainland, making additional stops at viewpoints for photographs. The excursion will end at your hotel in Te Anau, approximately 9 hours after pickup.
