Day Trip Details

The full-day trip begins early. Your guide will collect you from the meet point for a 2-hour air-conditioned coach journey to Cinque Terre, which comprises romantic villages along the rugged ravine.

The first stop is Manarola, the oldest of the villages. The economy is based on fishing and viticulture.

From Manarola, you will take a train to Vernazza, a charming fishing town. Free time will be provided for exploration of the port.

Next, you will travel to Monterosso, where you will spend approximately two hours. This village is known for its long beaches and crystal-blue sea. Weather permitting, stunning views of Cinque Terre will be visible from the water.

Finally, you will take a train to La Spezia, where the coach will be waiting to return you to Florence. The tour concludes at 7:30 pm at Piazzale Montelungo, near Santa Maria Novella station.

Lunch at Monterosso

Lunch occurs in Monterosso, where you can choose a local restaurant or opt for the lunch included option. This menu features seafood salad, pasta with pesto, and dessert with water or wine. Specify vegetarian or gluten-free preferences in the comments. Lunch is not included in low season and is only optional in high season (from March 25th to October 31st).

Self-Guided Cinque Terre Tour

For those who prefer a self-guided experience, you can book a tour to explore Cinque Terre at your own pace. Travel to La Spezia/Levanto by bus with the whole day free for exploration. This option does not include transport between villages. Your host will indicate the meeting point at La Spezia for the return trip to Florence.

The famous trail Via dell’Amore is temporarily closed, but the landscape remains beautiful.The boat trip operates between April and October and depends on weather conditions. In other months, transport will be by bus and train.During high season, time spent at each site may vary.
