Fall in love with one of the jewels of the Italian Renaissance with this fantastic guided tour of Florence Cathedral. You'll learn all about one of the country's most famous cathedrals as well as being able to visit the Misericordia Museum.

Florence Cathedral Guided Tour

At the scheduled time, we'll meet in front of the Museo della Misericordia. From here, we'll have priority access to the Florence Cathedral, a masterpiece of the Italian Renaissance and a World Heritage Site. We will explore its origins as a 7th-century church dedicated to Santa Maria del Fiore, examining its transformation into one of the largest cathedrals in the world. The tour will include details about the architectural techniques and materials used for Brunelleschi's dome, as well as the largest fresco of the Last Judgement by Vasari and Zuccaro.

Misericordia Museum

This activity also includes a ticket for the Misericordia Museum, which can be visited after the Cathedral tour. This museum, located in Piazza del Duomo, has a collection of pieces related to Florentine history.

From April 1 to October 31, 2025, the museum is open from Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm, and will be closed on Sundays, June 24, and August 15.
