Fall in love with one of the jewels of the Italian Renaissance with this fantastic guided tour of Florence Cathedral. You'll learn all about one of the country's most famous cathedrals as well as being able to visit the Misericordia Museum.

Florence Cathedral Guided Tour

At the scheduled time, we'll meet in front of the Museo della Misericordia. From this point, we'll have priority access to the interior of the Florence Cathedral, a World Heritage Site. Upon entering, we will explore the cathedral's origins, which began as a small church in the 7th century, evolving into one of the largest cathedrals in the world. The visit will cover the architectural secrets and artworks found inside, including Brunelleschi's dome, highlighting its construction techniques and materials. We will also admire the fresco by Vasari and Zuccaro depicting the Last Judgement, recognized as the largest painted surface in this technique.

Misericordia Museum

This activity includes a ticket for the Misericordia Museum, which can be visited after the Cathedral tour. This museum houses a collection of pieces related to Florentine history.

From April 1 to October 31, 2025, the museum located in Piazza del Duomo is open Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm, and closed on Sundays, June 24, and August 15.
