At the scheduled time, we will convene at Via Camillo Cavour, 18, 50122 Firenze FI, Italy before making our way to the Florence Cathedral.



Upon arrival, you will be captivated by the majestic red, white, and green-marbled structure. With your guide, you’ll bypass the long lines and step directly inside to explore the rich history and architectural splendor of this remarkable structure.



Your guide will illuminate the Cathedral's past, sharing insights on its extraordinary construction journey that unfolded during the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Renowned architects dedicated a century and a half to the design and construction of the stunning exterior and the iconic Brunelleschi's Dome.



As part of the tour, you will visit one of the highlights of the Duomo: The Last Judgement by Vasari and Zucari. By looking up to the dome's ceiling, you can appreciate this impressive fresco.



After uncovering the tale of greed and betrayal depicted in the artwork, we will ascend a narrow, open-air passage that has remained off-limits to the general public for ages. A guard will unlock a hidden room where you can enjoy a breathtaking bird’s eye view of the Piazza del Duomo and the sprawling terracotta rooftops flanked by the rolling hills of Tuscany. Up close, you’ll get to admire the intricate architectural details of Brunelleschi's Dome.



Next, we’ll proceed to the private "Circular Room", where you’ll observe ancient statues that once graced the façade of the Duomo.



Before heading back to ground level, your skip-the-line ticket allows you to explore the inner perimeter of the Duomo, providing a detailed look at the Last Judgement frescoes. You can also take the stairs to the summit of Brunelleschi's Dome for stunning 360-degree views of the Florence skyline.
