At the agreed time, we'll meet in the Piazza Santa Croce. Here, we will explore the facade of the temple and enter the basilica to start our guided tour.

Entering from the left side, our guide will highlight the wealth of art within. We will see early works such as the sculpture honoring writer Giovanni Battista Niccolini.

The tour will cover the most significant chapels of the temple featuring works by artists like Giotto, known for his frescoes, and Donatello, creator of the crucifix at the high altar. The Santa Croce Basilica is notable for its artistic treasures and the many illustrious figures buried within, including Michelangelo, Machiavelli, Galileo Galilei, and Rossini.

After viewing the main areas and the sixteen chapels, the guided tour will conclude with a visit to the crypt and the bell tower.
