Meet us in the central Piazza della Reppublica of Firenze, where we will begin our guided walking tour of Florence. We explore the influence of the Medicis on the city.

Our knowledgeable guide will set the scene as we walk through a city rich in history, starting at Piazza della Signoria, near Palazzo Vecchio. These landmarks showcase the architectural legacy of the Medici Family.

Next, we will visit the Duomo, Florence's Cathedral, which comprises the Baptistry and Giotto's Campanile. This UNESCO World Heritage Site was built with support from Cosimo Medici. Our guide will highlight the significance of the gold-paneled "Gates of Paradise."

We will proceed to Orsanmichele, initially a grain market and later a church for Florence's powerful craft guilds. Our next stop will be Santa Trinita Church, which features the Column of Justice, gifted to Cosimo de Medici by Pope Pius IV.
