Pisa, Siena & San Gimignano Day Trip

Take a full-day trip from Florence to explore three significant cities in Italy: Pisa, San Gimignano, and Siena. The excursion includes a traditional Italian lunch at a wine estate.

Description

The tour begins with a departure from Florence to Siena. After arrival, a guided tour of the historic center will be conducted, covering the Piazza del Campo, Palazzo Comunale, and the Cathedral. Participants will have an hour of free time to enjoy the area, have a coffee, or buy souvenirs.

The next stop will be the Chianti region, where lunch at a wine cellar will be served with local wine. The menu includes Tuscan products such as salami, pecorino cheese, pasta or lasagna, and cantucci biscuits. A vegetarian menu is also available.

After lunch, the group will proceed to San Gimignano, known for its 14 medieval towers. Guests will have time to explore the area at their leisure.

Finally, the trip will take participants to Pisa, where they will have about an hour of free time at the Piazza dei Miracoli, featuring the Cathedral, Baptistery, Monumental Cemetery, and the famous Leaning Tower.

After visiting Pisa, the group will return to Florence.

An independent full-day trip can be reserved for those who prefer to explore Siena without a guide and omit the Cathedral visit.

Sunday Tour

On Sundays and public holidays, the itinerary is adjusted to start with Pisa, followed by San Gimignano, and concluding with Siena. Changes may also occur at other times of the year.
