Lagoinha do Leste Natural Park Hiking Route

On this hiking route through Lagoinha do Leste Natural Park, we will explore the diverse fauna and flora of Santa Catarina's natural areas.

Description

We will meet at Rua Abelardo Otacílio Gomes in Florianópolis and begin our hike through Lagoinha do Leste Natural Park. This is a 6-kilometer (3.7-mile) high-difficulty hike, with stops to observe local wildlife, including various species of monkeys and toucans.

We will traverse the landscapes of the Mata Atlântica and after approximately an hour and a half, reach the Morro da Coroa viewpoint, offering a vista of the Pedra do Surfista.

After taking in the views, we will descend to Lagoinha do Leste beach, where you will have 1.5 hours of free time for swimming in the Atlantic and dining at local restaurants.

After lunch, we will regroup for another 1.5-hour hike covering other highlights of the park, continuing our quest to spot more species of Santa Catarina fauna and flora.

We will conclude our hike and return to the meeting point, totaling 6 hours.
