We will meet at 5:30 pm at Caminho dos Açores, in front of the church Nossa Senhora das Necessidades. This neighbourhood reflects the historical immigration of the Azorean population, showcasing strong Portuguese architecture.
Our tour includes a walk along Rua das Pedras, known for its historical significance, and a visit to the church of Nossa Senhora das Necessidades, reminiscent of prominent Catholic churches in Portugal.
After exploring the old town, we will proceed to the Beira Mar restaurant to enjoy the sunset while tasting caipirinhas and oysters.
We will witness the sunset's reddish, orange, and violet tones covering the coastline. The tour concludes with a return to the meeting point at 7:30 pm.
