On this excursion to the Chambord and Chenonceau châteaux, you’ll discover two of France's most beautiful castles. The Loire Valley awaits.

Day Trip Details

We’ll meet at the Tours or Amboise tourist office at the scheduled time to begin the tour. Our first stop is Le Château de Chenonceau.

Enjoy views of charming villages and the landscapes of the Loire Valley during the drive. Upon arrival at Chenonceau, it will be clear why it is the second most visited castle in the country.

Led by your guide, we’ll tour the castle's rooms filled with period decor and paintings related to French royalty. A stroll through the castle's gardens is included.

If you select the lunch option, we will visit the private Château de Villesavin for a homemade meal with a glass of local wine, followed by free time to explore.

The next stop is the Château de Chambord, an architectural masterpiece. Your guide will highlight iconic rooms and share stories.

After exploring these castles, we’ll return to Amboise or Tours, concluding the tour after 8 to 9.5 hours.

You can book the option that excludes lunch at Château de Villesavin, allowing free time in Chambord for lunch on your own.
