Bus + Boat Journey to Monteverde

Your adventure begins at your La Fortuna hotel, where we will meet you for a southbound excursion to Monteverde in a comfortable minibus.

We will traverse volcanic terrains, eventually reaching Lake Arenal. This stunning natural reservoir, expanded in the 1970s for hydroelectric purposes, spans around 30 kilometers (18 miles) in length.

Upon arrival, we'll transition to a boat for a scenic ride across the lake, offering spectacular views of Arenal Volcano National Park. Be sure to have your camera ready to capture the stunning landscape!

Once we reach the southern shore of Lake Arenal, another minibus will be on hand to transport you to your final destination.

After a pleasant three-hour journey, we will arrive at your accommodation in Monteverde, where you'll have the opportunity to explore this enchanting mountainous area at your leisure.
