Join us by road and by boat to Monteverde from La Fortuna in a convenient manner with scenic views of the volcano and Lake Arenal, the largest lake in Costa Rica.

Bus + Boat Transport to Monteverde

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up at your hotel in La Fortuna and depart south toward Monteverde in a minibus.

We will travel through volcanic fields to reach Lake Arenal, a natural spring enlarged in the 70s for hydroelectric power. The lake extends 30 kilometers (18 miles).

Upon arrival, we will switch to a boat that will navigate across the lake, providing excellent views of Arenal Volcano National Park. Be sure to bring your cameras.

After crossing, we will disembark at the southern tip of Lake Arenal, where another minibus will be ready to take you to your final destination.

We will reach your hotel in Monteverde after a three-hour ride, allowing you to explore this mountainous region at your leisure.
