Lake Arenal Kayak Tour

After being picked up from your hotel, you will drive to the Arenal Dam, known locally as "El Tapón." Upon arrival at Lake Arenal, participants will get into kayaks to explore the lake's landscapes and observe native birds such as herons, kingfishers, cormorants, and anhingas.

The tour includes insights into the history of the Arenal Volcano, particularly its 1968 eruption, which significantly affected the region. Interesting stories and facts about the dam will also be shared during the kayaking experience.

The kayak tour concludes with a return to the lake’s shores followed by transportation back to your hotel, completing this 3-hour experience.
