Lake Arenal Kayak Tour
After being picked up from your hotel, you'll drive to the Arenal Dam, known as "El Tapón." Upon arrival at Lake Arenal, you'll board kayaks for a tour, exploring the lake's landscapes and watching for native birds such as herons, kingfishers, cormorants, and anhingas.
The tour will also cover the history of the Arenal Volcano, particularly its significant eruption in 1968. You will learn about the dam as you paddle, enhancing the overall experience. The kayak tour lasts approximately 3 hours before returning to the lake's shores and then back to your hotel in Arenal.
