Exotic plants, native wildlife and natural lagoons: immerse yourself in the tropical wilderness of Costa Rica on this exciting quad bike tour of Arenal Volcano National Park.

Quad Bike Tour of Arenal Volcano National Park

After being picked up from your hotel at your preferred time, you'll head to Arenal Volcano National Park, located half an hour from La Fortuna.

In Alajuela province, you'll jump on your all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) to explore the wild jungle surrounding Arenal Volcano. The volcano is currently dormant, with its last eruption in 2010.

Bouncing through Costa Rican landscapes on your quad bikes, you'll experience the biodiversity of the rainforest. Drive along trails between the mountains, navigating under exotic vegetation while enjoying views of Arenal Volcano.

As the volcanic crater rises 5,500 feet (1,670 meters) above, you'll appreciate panoramic views of the jungle. Keep an eye out for native wildlife like white-faced Capuchin monkeys and sloths.

After your ride, you'll stop at a river in the national park for a refreshing dip in its crystal-clear waters. Following this, enjoy a picnic of tropical fruits to regain your energy.

Finally, you'll return to your hotel in La Fortuna to conclude the excursion.

What do I need for this tour?

No license is required to drive the quad bikes, but some driving experience is recommended.
