Quad Tour Details
After being picked up from your hotel at your preferred time, you'll head to Arenal Volcano National Park, located half an hour from La Fortuna. In this natural enclave, you will hop on all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) to explore the surrounding jungle. The volcano is currently dormant, with its last eruption occurring in 2010.
During the tour, you will navigate through Costa Rican landscapes, driving along trails between the mountains while enjoying views of the Arenal Volcano. From the foothills at 5,500 feet (1,670 meters), you may spot native species such as white-faced Capuchin monkeys and sloths.
After the quad biking, you will stop at the Arenal River for a refreshing dip in its waters. The tour will also include a visit to Maleku Village to learn about the indigenous community's customs and traditions, followed by a picnic of tropical fruits before returning to your hotel in La Fortuna.
Requirements
To drive the quad, you must present a valid driver's license.The minimum age to drive the quad is 16 years old.
