Quad Tour Details
After being picked up from your hotel at your selected time, you'll proceed to Arenal Volcano National Park, located just half an hour from La Fortuna. This area in Alajuela province is popular with tourists and locals. You'll start your adventure on all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) to explore the jungle surrounding Arenal Volcano, which last erupted in 2010 but is currently dormant.
Traveling through the diverse landscapes, you'll be immersed in the biodiversity of the rainforest while driving along trails between mountains, surrounded by exotic vegetation and taking in views of Arenal Volcano, which stands at 5,500 feet (1,670 meters). Keep an eye out for native wildlife, such as white-faced Capuchin monkeys and sloths.
After your quad biking, a stop at the Arenal River will allow for a refreshing dip in its clear waters. Subsequently, visit Maleku Village to learn about the customs of the indigenous community, followed by a picnic of tropical fruits. Your excursion concludes with the return trip to your hotel in La Fortuna.
