Exotic plants, native wildlife and natural lagoons: immerse yourself in the tropical wilderness of Costa Rica on this exciting quad bike tour of Arenal Volcano National Park.

Quad Bike Tour of Arenal Volcano National Park

After being picked up from your hotel at your preferred time, you'll set off for the Arenal Volcano National Park, located just half an hour away from La Fortuna. Here, you'll board your all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) to explore the jungle surrounding the Arenal Volcano, which last erupted in 2010.

Bouncing through the landscapes on your quad bike, you'll experience the biodiversity of the rainforest. Drive down trails between the mountains, ducking under vegetation and admiring the views of Arenal Volcano. The volcano towers at 5,500 feet (1,670 metres), providing panoramic views from the foothills, with opportunities to spot native species such as white-faced Capuchin monkeys and sloths.

Next, you'll stop at the river in the national park for a refreshing dip in its crystal-clear waters, followed by a delicious picnic of tropical fruits. Afterwards, you'll return to your hotel in La Fortuna.

What do I need for this tour?

You don't need a license to drive the quad bikes but having some driving experience is recommended.
