Ride the rapids of the Sarapiqui or Balsa River in the Costa Rican jungle. A real adventure!

White Water Rafting Details

After hotel pickup in Arenal, we will drive 50 minutes to the rafting location. This area has been a transport route since pre-Columbian times. Following a safety talk from our expert guides, we will board our rafts for an incredible rafting experience. We will navigate class II and III rapids such as "Superman," "Ay Caramba," and "Confusion," suitable for both beginners and advanced rafters.

The white water rafting trip will last 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on daily river flow. During our journey through the Costa Rican jungle, we will see spectacular gorges, canyons, and waterfalls along the Sarapiqui or Balsa River. Wildlife sightings may include monkeys, toucans, and other tropical animals.

After rafting, we will return to land and enjoy a refreshing beer or juice before returning to hotels, arriving approximately 4.5 hours after pickup.
