Ride the rapids of the Sarapiqui or Balsa River at full speed through the Costa Rican jungle. A real adventure!

White Water Rafting Details

After hotel pickup in Arenal, a 50-minute drive will take you to the starting point for white water rafting. This area has served as transport since pre-Columbian times.

Participants will receive a safety talk from expert guides before embarking on a raft adventure through class II and III rapids, including "Superman," "Ay Caramba," and "Confusion," suitable for both beginners and advanced rafters.

The rafting trip lasts between one and two hours, depending on daily river flow. As we navigate through the Costa Rican jungle, you can enjoy views of gorges, canyons, and waterfalls, and possibly spot wildlife such as monkeys and toucans.

At trip's end, there will be a chance to enjoy a refreshing beer or juice before returning to hotels in Arenal approximately 4.5 hours after pickup.
