Ride the rapids of the Sarapiqui River at full speed through the Costa Rican jungle. A real adventure!
White Water Rafting on the Sarapiqui River
After hotel pickup in Arenal, we begin a 50-minute drive to the Sarapiqui River, known for its historical significance as a transport route. Our rafting trip starts near the La Virgen Bridge, where expert guides will provide a safety talk. We will embark on a rafting journey through class II and II rapids, including names like "Superman," "Ay Caramba," and "Confusion," suitable for both beginners and advanced rafters.
The trip lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours, contingent on daily river flow. Participants will experience the Costa Rican jungle, viewing gorges, canyons, and waterfalls, while possibly spotting local wildlife like monkeys and toucans.
After the rafting, we return to land for a refreshing beer or juice, concluding with transportation back to hotels in Arenal approximately 4.5 hours after the initial pickup.
