At the scheduled time, we will meet at Rua Mal. Deodoro to begin one of the best tours to visit Foz de Iguacu. Participants will learn about the historical significance and culture of this region, famous for its waterfalls.
The tour will start with the iconic historical buildings of the city and the history of colonisation, highlighting the area's rich cultural diversity, which includes over 80 ethnicities and its position on a triple border with Brazil.
Walking along Avenida Jorge Schimmelpfeng, we will explore Avenida Brasil, the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Bratolomeu Mitre Square, and the significance of Argentina's military in the War of the Triple Alliance.
Next, we will visit the Senac Building, the first casino hotel, and Almirante Tamandaré Square, honoring a notable Brazilian navy captain.
The tour will also cover the Parana River, the natural border between Brazil and Paraguay, including a scenic viewpoint for sunset viewing. The tour lasts 2.5 hours.
