At the indicated time, we’ll meet at Freiburg Minster, in the heart of Freiburg. From there, we’ll head into the Freiburg Christmas Market in the bustling Marktplatz.

First opened in 1973, this market has over 120 stalls, offering a wide variety of crafts and treats each year. The market is illuminated by thousands of twinkling Christmas lights, enhancing the charm of the old town.

As we explore the wooden stalls, we will find goods such as handmade candles, pottery, and wooden toys, along with unique Christmas decorations. Local treats are also available, including traditional mulled wine, grilled sausages, roasted chestnuts, and regional specialties.

For children, the market features craft workshops to create Christmas gifts. Additionally, live music and choirs singing carols contribute to the festive atmosphere.

After 1.5 hours of exploring the market, we’ll conclude our tour in the Marktplatz.
