Explore the vibrant beauty of La Palma's seabed on our Fuencaliente Snorkelling Activity. You'll see hundreds of fish and the remnants of lava flows from the Teneguía volcano's last eruption.

Activity Details

At the designated time, we'll meet at one of the meeting points in Fuencaliente. Participants will drive to the beach in Southwest La Palma, guided by our instructor. Upon arrival, we'll equip ourselves with wetsuits and go over safety rules. Flippers, snorkels, and goggles will be provided for the underwater exploration.

The snorkelling activity lasts for 1 hour, during which you'll observe various marine life, including Mediterranean parrotfish, dreamfish, white seabream, seabass, and barracuda. You'll also see solidified lava from the Teneguía volcano's 1971 eruption. The activity concludes at Malpique Beach 2 to 5 hours later. After the initial 2-hour experience, you can use the snorkelling equipment for an additional 3 hours if desired.
