Explore the vibrant beauty of La Palma's seabed on our Fuencaliente Snorkelling Activity. You'll see hundreds of fish and the remnants of lava flows from the Teneguía volcano's last eruption.

Fuencaliente Snorkelling Activity

At 10 am, we'll meet at a diving school located on José Torres Hernández Street in Fuencaliente. After introductions, you will drive to the beach in Southwest La Palma, guided by our instructor.

Upon arrival, we'll put on our wetsuits and review important safety rules. Next, we will equip ourselves with flippers, snorkels and goggles before entering the water to explore the seabed.

We will spend 1 hour observing the underwater life off the coast of Fuencaliente, where you can expect to see species like Mediterranean parrotfish, dreamfish, white seabream, seabass, and barracuda. The tour also includes views of solidified lava from the Teneguía volcano's 1971 eruption.

We will conclude the activity and return to the surface by 12 noon, gathering at Malpique Beach. If you wish to continue snorkelling, equipment will be available for use until 3 pm.
