Explore the vibrant beauty of La Palma's seabed on our Fuencaliente Snorkelling Activity. You'll see hundreds of fish and the remnants of lava flows from the Teneguía volcano's last eruption.

Fuencaliente Snorkelling Activity

At 10 am, we'll meet at a diving school located on José Torres Hernández Street in Fuencaliente. After an introduction, you'll drive your own car following the guide to the beach in Southwest La Palma for snorkelling.

Upon arrival, we'll put on wetsuits and review safety rules essential for the activity. After equipping ourselves with flippers, snorkels, and goggles, we will enter the water to start exploring the seabed.

We will spend 1 hour observing the underwater life off the coast of Fuencaliente, witnessing hundreds of fish, including Mediterranean parrotfish, dreamfish, white seabream, seabass, and barracuda. Additionally, we will see solidified lava from the Teneguía volcano's 1971 eruption.

We will return to the surface and conclude the activity at Malpique Beach at 12 noon. If interested, you can continue snorkelling with the equipment until 3 pm.
