Explore the vibrant beauty of La Palma's seabed on our Fuencaliente Snorkelling Activity. You'll see hundreds of fish and the remnants of lava flows from the Teneguía volcano's last eruption.
Activity Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at one of the meeting points in Fuencaliente. After introductions, you'll use your own car to follow the guide to the beach in Southwest La Palma for snorkelling.
Upon arrival, we’ll put on our wetsuits and review safety rules. We'll equip ourselves with flippers, snorkels, and goggles before entering the water. We'll spend 1 hour exploring the underwater life off the coast of Fuencaliente, observing species like Mediterranean parrotfish, dreamfish, white seabream, seabass, and barracuda. We'll also see solidified lava from the 1971 Teneguía volcano eruption.
The activity will conclude on Malpique Beach 2 to 5 hours later. After this 2-hour activity, if you wish to continue snorkelling, you can use the equipment for an additional 3 hours.
Schedule & Meeting Points
Select the 9:30 am slot to meet at the dive school on Calle José Torres Hernández in Fuencaliente, or choose the 12:30 pm option to meet directly at the beach. The exact meeting point will be confirmed after booking.
