Fuencaliente Snorkelling Activity

Explore the vibrant beauty of La Palma's seabed on our Fuencaliente Snorkelling Activity. You'll see hundreds of fish and the remnants of lava flows from the Teneguía volcano's last eruption.

Activity Details

At the designated time, we'll meet at one of the meeting points in Fuencaliente. After introductions, you'll follow the guide to the beach in Southwest La Palma for snorkelling. Once arrived, we'll put on our wetsuits and explain the necessary safety rules. We'll equip ourselves with flippers, snorkels, and goggles before entering the water for exploration.

We'll spend 1 hour admiring the underwater life off the coast of Fuencaliente, observing various fish such as Mediterranean parrotfish, dreamfish, white seabream, seabass, and barracuda, as well as solidified lava from the Teneguía volcano's 1971 eruption. We'll conclude the activity and say our goodbyes on Malpique Beach 2 to 5 hours later.

After this 2-hour activity, you can continue snorkelling with the equipment for an additional 3 hours at your discretion.

Schedule & Meeting Points

If you choose the 9:30 am slot, you'll meet at the dive school on Calle José Torres Hernández in Fuencaliente. For the 12:30 pm option, we'll meet directly at the beach where the activity will take place. The exact meeting point will be confirmed after booking.
