Explore the vibrant beauty of La Palma's seabed on our Fuencaliente Snorkelling Activity. You'll see hundreds of fish and the remnants of lava flows from the Teneguía volcano's last eruption.
Fuencaliente Snorkelling Activity
At 10 am, we'll meet at a diving school located on José Torres Hernández Street in Fuencaliente. After introductions, you'll follow the guide in your own car to the beach in Southwest La Palma for snorkelling.
Upon arrival, we'll put on our wetsuits and explain the safety rules for the activity. After equipping ourselves with flippers, snorkels, and goggles, we will enter the water to start exploring the seabed.
We'll spend 1 hour observing the underwater life off the coast of Fuencaliente, including fish such as Mediterranean parrotfish, dreamfish, white seabream, seabass, and barracuda. In addition, we'll view solidified lava from the Teneguía volcano's 1971 eruption.
We will return to the surface and conclude the activity at Malpique Beach by 12 noon. If you wish to continue snorkelling, you may use the equipment until 3 pm.
