Heras Cordon Winery Tour

We'll meet at the entrance to the Heras Cordón Winery. The guided tour will explore the vineyard facilities originating in the 19th century, which began local wine production for Rioja Alavesa families.

The winery expanded over the years, overcoming challenges like the Civil War, culminating in significant growth by the end of the last century. The 1990s saw numerous reforms leading to the current winery structure.

During the tour, an expert winemaker will detail the winemaking process, varieties, and tasting techniques. Visitors will see historical elements such as old barrels and corridors, along with a restored door from a cloistered monastery.

After the tour, guests will enjoy a wine tasting with regional wines, local products including homemade sausages and cheeses.
