Nagasaki Sightseeing Tour
Join us on this sightseeing tour of Nagasaki, an opportunity to explore the city pivotal during World War II. We will visit the Atomic Bomb Museum, Glover Gardens, and Peace Park.
We will meet at the train station at the established time to commence the sightseeing tour of Nagasaki.
The first stop is Nagasaki Peace Park, where we will observe the large bronze statue symbolizing Buddha’s love and mercy in honor of the atomic bomb victims from August 9, 1945.
Next, we will head to Glover Gardens, featuring European-style buildings from the Meiji period. This area highlights Nagasaki's rich history and cultural blend, as it was the only port accessible to foreigners during Japan's period of isolation.
We will then visit the Atomic Bomb Museum, focusing on Nagasaki’s resilience in rebuilding after the bombings and advocating for a world free of nuclear weapons.
Finally, we will see the Megane Bashi or "spectacles bridge," a 17th-century stone bridge over the Nakashima River.
The tour lasts four hours, concluding back at the starting point.
