Day Trip Details

We will pick you up from your hotel in Funchal at the scheduled time and head to the Picos dos Barcelos viewpoint for a brief stop to view the city.

Next, we will arrive at Curral das Freiras, a small village in the Nuns' Valley, where nuns took refuge from pirates in 1566. The village is surrounded by rugged peaks.

The tour will proceed to the Eira do Serrado viewpoint for a 30-minute stop to enjoy views of the Nuns Valley and the scenic landscape of Curral das Freiras.

After this, we will return to Curral das Freiras and take a minibus back to Funchal. The entire experience lasts around 4 hours, concluding with drop-off at your hotel.

Meeting Point

This tour includes pickup from hotels in the center of Funchal.

If you are in a more remote area or other parts of Madeira Island, pickup will be at the designated time at Rua 5 de Outubro, 78 in Funchal.
