Make the most of your time on Madeira Island, enjoying the unique experience of swimming with dolphins in the Atlantic Ocean.

Activity Details

At the agreed time, we'll meet at Do Mar Avenue and begin our experience: swimming with dolphins off the coast of Madeira. We will board a boat that takes us to a location known for its dolphin population. During the trip, the guide will inform us about the marine mammals in the area.

Once we reach the designated spot, we'll stop the engine and wait for the dolphins to appear around the boat. In small groups, we will enter the water holding onto a rope attached to the boat, using snorkeling gear provided. We will enjoy the experience of swimming alongside the dolphins safely. After the excursion along the coast, we will return to the original meeting point after 2 hours.

Dolphin Sightings

Madeira Island's environment allows for dolphin swimming, but sightings are unpredictable due to factors such as weather, sea currents, wind direction, and breeding seasons. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that every experience will occur in open sea, but in 90% of the cases, swimming with dolphins does take place.
