Tour Overview

We'll begin our adventure with a pickup from your hotel at the scheduled time, ready to commence our exploration of eastern Madeira.

The initial stop will be at the Terreiro da Luta viewpoint, where breathtaking views of Funchal’s iconic bay await, framed by the vastness of the ocean.

Continuing our journey, we will proceed to the quaint village of Faial, where the striking rock formation known as the eagles will captivate our attention before we head towards Santana. Here, we will take in the charm of its celebrated triangular thatched houses, emblematic images of Madeira.

A pause at a local restaurant will offer you the chance to recharge and try some delightful regional dishes. Post-lunch, we’ll ascend to the Guindaste viewpoint for more stunning vistas.

Our route then leads us to Machico, where we will marvel at the expansive sugar cane terraces that characterize this side of the island. As we arrive in Machico, the island's first capital, we’ll delve into its rich historical and cultural tapestry.

After soaking in this heritage, we will make our way to Ponta de São Lourenço, an impressive geographical landmark that provides sweeping views over both the northern and southern coastlines of the island.

As our tour wraps up, we will transport you back to your hotel, culminating nearly eight hours of discovery in eastern Madeira.
