Description
Pickup will be from your hotel in Funchal at the scheduled time, and you will travel by minibus to the valley of the Paúl da Serra plateau. This plateau includes small lagoons, streams, and rock formations formed through erosion and water forces. Over a duration of four hours, you will engage in a hiking route through Madeira Island's lakes, gaining insights into their origins and the surrounding flora.
During the hike, hidden waterfalls, unique terrain, and stunning landscapes will be encountered. The path will take you to the oldest levada irrigation channel in western Madeira, providing captivating panoramic views of the Paúl da Serra plateau.
After experiencing these landscapes, the return journey to the starting point will commence. You will reboard the minibus for transport back to your hotel, arriving approximately 8 hours after the initial pickup.
