Madeira's lakes are a significant tourist attraction. Discover them on a hiking route featuring waterfalls, streams, and lagoons.
Description
We will pick you up from your hotel in Funchal at the specified time and travel by minibus to the valley of the Paúl da Serra plateau. Prepare to uncover its natural secrets!
This plateau contains small lagoons, streams, and rock formations shaped by erosion. Over four hours, we will hike through Madeira Island's lakes, learning about their origins and the surrounding flora.
During the hike, we will encounter hidden waterfalls, unique terrain, and breathtaking landscapes. We will also follow nearly erased paths leading to the oldest levada irrigation channel in western Madeira, enjoying stunning panoramic views of the Paúl da Serra plateau.
After experiencing these landscapes, we will return to the original starting point. We will board the minibus and return you to your hotel, approximately 8 hours after pickup.
Pickup
This activity includes pickup from hotels in central Funchal. If you're in a remote area or elsewhere on Madeira Island, we will meet you at Rua 5 de Outubro, 78, at the specified time.
