Tour Details

On the day of your tour, you will be picked up from your hotel in downtown Funchal in an offroading vehicle to explore the northeastern part of Madeira. The route will take you through the Paúl da Serra plateau, where you can stop to see local wildlife such as cows, goats, and sheep.

Your next destination is Fanal, known for its beautiful viewpoints and ancient trees, where you can enjoy a walk. Afterward, you will go to Pico da Urze, where you have the option to enjoy a meal of typical local specialties at a restaurant (not included). Following the meal, the tour proceeds to the natural pools of Porto Moniz, providing a chance for a refreshing swim in these volcanic pools.

The tour concludes with a visit to the vineyards of San Vicente, famous for producing one of Madeira's best-known wines, before you are dropped back at your hotel after a total of 7.5 hours.
