After hotel pickup, we will travel east to Santo da Serra, a village in Machico known for its market, which attracts hundreds of locals every Sunday. The market offers an array of local products, including fruit, vegetables, fresh fish, handicrafts, and clothing.

After exploring the market, we will visit local bars to sample poncha, a typical drink from the island made from lemon, honey, and sugar cane.

Before returning to Funchal, we will stop briefly at the Portela Viewpoint for views of the Machico Valley and the Atlantic Ocean.

During the return journey, we will pass through Santa Cruz to appreciate this mountain city.

We will arrive in Funchal at around 1 pm.
