After hotel pickup, we'll head east to Santo da Serra, a village in Machico known for its market that attracts hundreds of locals every Sunday. You'll find a variety of local products, including fruit, vegetables, fresh fish, handicrafts, and clothes.

After exploring the market, we'll visit local bars where you can buy poncha, a typical drink made from lemon, honey, and sugar cane.

Before returning to Funchal, we'll stop briefly at the Portela Viewpoint for views of the Machico Valley and the Atlantic Ocean.

The return journey will take us through Santa Cruz, allowing you to admire the city nestled in the mountains.

We aim to arrive in Funchal at around 1 pm.
