After hotel pick-up, we will head east to Santo da Serra, a village in Machico known for its market that attracts hundreds of locals every Sunday. Here, you will find local products such as fruit, vegetables, fresh fish, handicrafts, and clothes.

After exploring the market, we will visit local bars for you to try poncha, a typical drink from the island made from lemon, honey, and sugar cane.

Before returning to Funchal, we will stop at the Portela Viewpoint for views of the Machico Valley and the Atlantic Ocean.

On the return journey, we will pass by Santa Cruz to admire the city in the mountains.

We will arrive in Funchal at around 1 pm.
