After hotel pickup, we will head east to Santo da Serra, a village in Machico known for its market that attracts locals every Sunday. The market features an array of local products including fruit, vegetables, fresh fish, handicrafts, and clothing.

After exploring the bustling market, we will visit local bars for a taste of poncha, a typical drink made from lemon, honey, and sugar cane.

Prior to returning to Funchal, we will stop at the Portela Viewpoint for views of the Machico Valley and the Atlantic Ocean.

On the way back, we will pass through Santa Cruz to admire the city nestled in the mountains.

We will arrive in Funchal at around 1 pm.
