Tour Details
In the morning, pick up will occur from your hotel in Funchal to begin a panoramic tour of western Madeira's notable sights. The first stop is Câmara de Lobos, a traditional fishing village admired by Winston Churchill.
We will navigate the narrow roads to reach Cabo Girão, one of Europe's highest cliffs, for stunning views. Next, we will travel to Ribeira Brava, exploring its historic monuments including the blue-and-white-tiled church.
The tour continues through the laurel forests of the Paul da Serra plateau, providing an opportunity for photographs. Following this, a visit to the Fanal forest and a stop at Ribeira da Janela's lookout point will be included.
We will proceed to Porto Moniz, famed for its natural volcanic pools. Attendees will have free time to relax, swim, and enjoy lunch at local restaurants.
The tour concludes with visits to waterfalls on the north coast and a pass through the surfing-friendly village of São Vicente.
At the end of this eight-hour tour, participants will be returned to their hotels.
