At 6.30 pm, we'll meet at the Marina do Funchal and start this boat trip along the south coast of Madeira, around Cabo Girão and Câmara de Lobos. From the boat, we'll admire the sunset over the coast and look for whales and dolphins, as they feed on crustaceans and small fish during this time.

Sunset is one of the best times to see whales and dolphins in the North Atlantic. The on-board guide will share interesting facts about the marine fauna, including various large mammals like whales. Species such as bottlenose and spotted dolphins, sperm whales, fin whales, and pilot whales inhabit the Madeira coastline.

We will also witness the Desertas Islands illuminated in shades of orange and scarlet during twilight. If weather conditions permit, we will make a 30-minute stop for snorkeling in the open sea.

Lastly, at 9.30 pm we'll return to the departure dock.

Whales and dolphins are commonly found off Madeira's coast but they are wild animals and unpredictable. We cannot guarantee the number or species seen during the tour.
