Whale Watching Sunset Cruise

At 6.30 pm, we'll meet at the Marina do Funchal to start the boat trip along the coast of Madeira. We'll sail along the south coast, particularly around Cabo Girão and Câmara de Lobos.

From the boat, we'll admire the sunset over the coast of Madeira and attempt to spot various whales and dolphins. During this time of day, they approach the coast to feed on crustaceans and small fish, making sunset an optimal period for observation.

The guide will provide information about the marine fauna, including species such as bottlenose and spotted dolphins, sperm whales, fin whales, and pilot whales. As we sail, we'll also see the twilight effects on the Desertas Islands. Weather permitting, we'll make a 30-minute stop in the open sea for those interested in snorkeling.

At 9.30 pm, we'll return to the marina.
