Whale Watching Sunset Cruise

Our adventure begins at 6:30 pm at the Marina do Funchal. From this vibrant port, we will set sail along the stunning coastline of Madeira. We'll navigate the southern shores, specifically around Cabo Girão and Câmara de Lobos.

While on the boat, prepare to be captivated by the stunning sunset casting magical hues over Madeira’s coastline. This time of day is ideal for spotting various whales and dolphins, as they approach the shore to feed on crustaceans and small fish.

Sunset provides an exceptional opportunity to view these marvelous creatures in the North Atlantic. Our onboard guide will share fascinating insights about the region's marine wildlife, which includes impressive species like bottlenose dolphins, spotted dolphins, sperm whales, fin whales, and pilot whales.

As we journey, observe how the twilight gracefully bathes the Desertas Islands in beautiful orange and scarlet tones. If the Atlantic weather conditions are favorable, we will also take a 30-minute pause in open water for those interested in snorkeling.

We will return to the marina by 9:30 pm, concluding our memorable maritime experience.
