Calcurrupe River Kayak Tour
The Calcurrupe River's name originates from the Mapudungun language, meaning path of the sorcerer. The adventure begins at 9:30 am at Los Llolles port, located at the basin of Maihue Lake.
After equipping with life jackets and a safety briefing, we'll paddle downstream following the river's flow, joining Maihue and Ranco lakes.
The distance covered will be approximately 15 kilometers (9.3 miles), with easy-to-negotiate rapids while enjoying the mountain scenery. The trip provides the chance to observe native birds of Chile's lake regions such as herons, cormorants, and kingfishers.
Midway, we'll stop at a river beach for a lunch of roasted meat on a stick, accompanied by fried empanadas and organic vegetables from the garden.
After lunch, your group's driver will retrieve your vehicle. The tour concludes at approximately 5 pm.
