Santa Cruz Island Bike Tour

On the Santa Cruz Island Bike Tour, participants will encounter the giant tortoises of the Galápagos archipelago while cycling around the island. The tour starts with a pickup from your hotel on Santa Cruz Island or a meeting at San Francisco Park in Puerto Ayora, followed by a drive to Guayabillos.

After a 15-minute ride, the bike tour begins through 9 miles (14 kilometers) of jungles within the island’s interior, lasting approximately one hour. Participants will learn about the local flora and encounter areas inhabited by giant Galápagos tortoises, including interesting facts about their size and weight.

There will be a stop to view lava tunnels and discuss the geology of the Galápagos, along with a snack break before returning to the starting point. The return route includes a visit to Nymphs Lagoon for relaxation and photos. The entire experience lasts between 4 to 5 hours.
