South Galapagos Islands 4-Day Cruise
Day 1: Baltra Island & Santa Cruz Island
We'll pick you up from the Galapagos Islands Airport on Baltra Island and head to the boat. After lunch, we'll set off for Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz Island. Here, we'll visit the Charles Darwin Research Station to learn about conservation. Dinner will be served on the boat as we sail to South Plaza Island.
Day 2: South Plaza & Santa Fé Islands
After breakfast, we disembark on South Plaza Island to hike and observe the endemic vegetation and land iguanas. Next, we'll sail to Santa Fé Island, where a boat ride through the turquoise lagoon and a visit to the sea lion colony will follow. Dinner will be served while sailing to Santiago Island.
Day 3: Santiago (Bartolomé Island & Sombrero Chino)
After breakfast, we visit Bartolomé Island to see rock formations and marine life. Following lunch on board, we'll go to Sombrero Chino for a hike exploring volcanic formations and local fauna. Dinner will be served as we head to Mosquera Island.
Day 4: Daphne and Baltra Islands
On the last day, we'll sail around Daphne Island, a site for scientific studies, before returning to Baltra Island.
What's the boat like?
The cruise takes place on a brand-new catamaran with a maximum capacity of 14 guests. Full-board accommodation includes all meals. Cabin options are:
Superior cabin: Double bed.Standard cabin: Double and single bed.Cabin with a bunk bed.
All rooms have a private bathroom.
Snorkeling
If conditions allow, we will go snorkeling at various locations near the islands.
Note on prices
The indicated price is per person in a double cabin. Solo travelers may book double cabins but could share with others.
Cancelation deposit
If you cancel this activity after booking, a deposit of 150USD to 250USD will be withheld, depending on the season, with the remaining amount refunded.
