Tour South Plaza Island, one of the most spectacular corners of the Galápagos. You'll get to see endemic species such as land iguanas and blue-footed boobies!

South Plaza Island Excursion

We'll pick you up at your hotel on Santa Cruz Island at 8 am. From there, we'll take a bus for a 45-minute ride to the Itabaca Channel, where we'll board a boat to South Plaza Island.

Upon arrival, we may be greeted by several families of sea lions at the island's dock. We'll take a walk around the island to observe blue-footed boobies and iguanas resting under the shade of cacti, and we can spot hybrid iguanas as well.

Next, we'll move to Punta Carrión, a small bay where we'll go snorkeling to discover the marine life of the Galápagos.

We'll have a lunch consisting of a sandwich, fruit, and juice. Continuing along our route, we'll reach a cliff to check out the reddish vegetation covering the rocks, providing a panoramic view.

On the way back to the dock, we'll visit the beach that is home to one of the largest colonies of sea lions in the Galápagos Islands. At 4 pm, after eight hours of the tour, we'll take you back to your hotel on Santa Cruz Island.
