Tour South Plaza Island, one of the most spectacular corners of the Galápagos. You'll get to see endemic species such as land iguanas and blue-footed boobies!

South Plaza Island Excursion

We'll pick you up at your hotel on Santa Cruz Island at 8 am. From there, we'll take a bus for a 45-minute ride to the Itabaca Channel, where we'll board a boat to South Plaza Island.

Upon arrival, we may be greeted by several families of sea lions at the island's dock. We'll carefully disembark to walk around the island and observe blue-footed boobies and iguanas resting in the shade of the cacti. We can also spot several hybrid iguanas, the result of mating between marine iguanas and land iguanas.

Next, we'll move to Punta Carrión, a small bay where we'll go snorkeling to discover the marine life of the Galápagos.

We'll stop for lunch, which includes a sandwich, fruit, and juice. Continuing along our route, we'll reach a cliff to observe the reddish vegetation covering the rocks, providing a panoramic view.

On the way back to the dock, we'll visit the beach that is home to one of the largest colonies of sea lions in the Galápagos Islands. At 4 pm, after eight hours of enjoying this unique natural paradise, we'll take you back to your hotel on Santa Cruz Island.
