Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, we'll pick you from your hotel in Santa Cruz Island, we'll begin our day with a pleasant 40-minute walk through the forest to Tortuga Bay.

Hidden in the bay and surrounded by green mangroves, we'll find the peaceful Playa Mansa Beach. We'll spend the morning enjoying the beach. You can relax on the soft white sand, sunbathe, or swim in the crystalline seawater. You can also make use of this time to have lunch at your own leisure.

We'll meet back up at 1:45 pm at the pier of Santa Cruz and board a boat that will take us to explore the surroundings of Tortuga Bay. The trip will take us to Punta Estrada, where we'll admire numerous seabirds such as pelicans and boobies.

Afterwards, we'll give you free time to swim in its waters and snorkel to explore the beauty of its seabed. Back on board, we'll continue sailing to Los Perros beach, famous for having the largest number of marine iguanas on the island of Santa Cruz.

The next stop will be at a lookout point from where we'll observe white-finned sharks, impressive! We'll continue the tour heading towards the Canal del Amor, a natural fissure between large rock formations through which turquoise waters flow.

Lastly, we'll touch dry land to visit the crevices on foot, a rock formation surrounded by crystal clear waters where we'll be able to swim and snorkel with sea lions.

Finally, we'll return to the starting point and finish this complete excursion 8 hours later.

Hotel Pickup

This tour includes pickup and drop-off at the hotels located in the pier area of Santa Cruz Island. If your hotel is in an area that is difficult to access, or in the higher parts of the island, you'll have to go to the Santa Cruz pier, specifically next to the sign.

You will embark on a full day trip that starts with a scenic walk to Tortuga Bay, followed by leisure time at Playa Mansa Beach and a boat exploration of the nearby areas. The tour includes opportunities for swimming and snorkeling at various points, along with wildlife observation.
