Tour of the Santa Cruz Highlands
At 2:45 pm, we'll pick you up from your hotel to head to the Santa Cruz highlands. The first stop will be at Rancho Primicias, where we will observe the giant tortoises in their natural habitat and learn about them. Afterwards, we will visit the lava tunnels of Santa Cruz, taking a walk through these geological formations. Next, we'll go to the Twin Craters, unique sinkholes formed by volcanic depression. Here, we will also see typical highland vegetation including escalesias, mosses, and orchids. The tour will conclude with a drop-off at your hotel at 6:15 pm.
