Tour of the Santa Cruz Highlands
At 2:45 pm, we'll pick you up from your hotel to head to the Santa Cruz highlands.
The first stop will be at Rancho Primicias, where you can see the giant tortoises in their natural habitat. You'll learn about these reptiles while observing them as they eat or rest.
Next, we'll explore the well-known lava tunnels of Santa Cruz. This walk through the geological formations will provide insights into the island's history.
After this, we will visit the Twin Craters, sinkholes formed by a volcanic depression. Here, you'll see highland vegetation, including escalesias, mosses, and orchids.
The tour concludes with a return to your hotel at 6:15 pm.
