On this tour of the highlands of Santa Cruz Island, we'll visit the most iconic places of this paradise in the Galapagos, such as the Rancho Primicias, the lava tunnels, and the Twin Craters!
Tour of the Santa Cruz Highlands
At 2:45 pm, we'll pick you up from your hotel to head to the Santa Cruz highlands.
The first stop will be at Rancho Primicias, where we will see the giant tortoises. We'll learn about these reptiles while watching them in their natural habitat.
After, we'll visit the lava tunnels of Santa Cruz, walking through these geological formations.
Next, we will go to the Twin Craters, unique sinkholes formed by a volcanic depression. In this area, we will see highland vegetation such as escalesias, mosses, and orchids.
Finally, we will return to your hotel at 6:15 pm.
