Do you know the province of Lecce? In this bike tour through Alezio, Tuglie and Porto Selvaggio we'll cycle through three beautiful towns in the region of Apulia, in southern Italy.

Pedal Your Way Through the Lecce Region

We'll meet at the designated time in front of the Gallipoli train station. After a brief orientation, we'll begin our cycling journey through Lecce. This province is home to charming towns, and we'll explore three of its most notable ones.

After leaving Gallipoli, we'll cycle east for about half an hour to reach Alezio. Our first stop will be at a local dairy factory for a tasting of various dairy products.

We will then continue to Tuglie, where we will pass by the Radio Museum and the Museum of Rural Civilization. We won’t enter these museums but will learn interesting facts about their collections.

Next, we will head towards the Natural Reserve of Porto Selvaggio. Here, participants can enjoy a refreshing dip in cool waters and take a break under the shade of a pine forest along the coastline, making it ideal for relaxing. Bring a picnic for your break.

After lunch, we will ride through the coastal town of Santa Caterina before returning to our meeting point in Gallipoli, concluding this 8-hour tour.
