Gallipoli Private Tour
At your chosen time, we'll convene at the notable fountain in Piazza Moro Aldo. Following our admiration of this Renaissance monument influenced by Greek architecture, our captivating exploration of Gallipoli's historic center will commence.
Crossing the elegant Ponte Seicentesco, we will arrive in the old town, encircled by a striking 13th-century castle once governed by the Crown of Aragon. Here, you will appreciate its stunning design while uncovering intriguing tales from its past!
Pursuing the narrow streets of Gallipoli, we make our way to the baroque cathedral of St. Agatha, the city's principal church, which houses the remains of this Catholic virgin who met her martyrdom in Catania.
Continuing our discovery through this charming Puglian town, we will pause at imposing palaces and churches from the 16th and 17th centuries, including St. Francis of Assisi, St. Mary of Purity, and St. Dominic of the Rosary. Be sure to have your camera ready!
Our experience will also include a relaxing stroll along the city’s seafront promenades, where the views of the superb beaches of Gallipoli will leave you mesmerized. Expect gentle sea breezes, golden sands, and crystal-clear waters to highlight this portion of our journey.
Concluding our enriching two-hour tour, we will return to the original meeting point or another central location of your choice.
