What to Expect

On the activity's morning, we will collect you from Kinlay Hostel in Galway's city centre. The journey will take us south along the Wild Atlantic Way through spectacular natural landscapes and villages like Clarenbridge, Kilcogan, Ballindereen, and Ballyvaughan, known for various medieval ruins and traditional Irish legends.

The Cliffs of Moher

Our first stop will be the Cliffs of Moher, which extend over 8 kilometers (5 miles) and rise 210 meters (688 feet) tall. Keep an eye out for local birds including cormorants and puffins.

The Aran Islands: Inisheer

Next, we travel to Doolin to board a ferry to Inisheer, the smallest of the Aran Islands. The 30-minute ferry ride may provide sightings of dolphins.

On the island, you can explore at your own pace, visiting St. Cavan's Church ruins from the 10th century and the Plassey shipwreck. After exploring, we will return to the mainland for another perspective of the Cliffs of Moher, followed by an hour of free time to explore the summit. We will then return to Galway, concluding the tour after 10 hours of activity.
