What to Expect

On the morning of the activity, collection will be from Kinlay Hostel in Galway's city centre. A bus will head south along the Wild Atlantic Way, passing through villages like Clarenbridge, Kilcogan, Ballindereen, and Ballyvaughan, known for various medieval ruins and traditional Irish legends.

The Cliffs of Moher

First stop is the Cliffs of Moher, which are over 8 kilometres (5 miles) long and 210 metres (688 feet) tall, known as a significant natural landmark. Look for local birds like cormorants and puffins.

The Aran Islands: Inisheer

After views, the trip continues to Doolin for a ferry to Inisheer, the smallest of the three Aran Islands, with a 30-minute journey where dolphins are often spotted.

On the island, explore at your own pace, enjoy Irish culture, and see the ruins of St. Cavan's Church from the 10th century and the Plassey shipwreck. Following exploration, return to the mainland offers another view of the Cliffs of Moher. There will be one hour of free time before returning to Galway to conclude the 10-hour tour.
