Connemara & Diamond Hill Day Trip

Having picked you up from the Hyde Hotel in Galway at 10 am, we'll set off for Connemara. A day of nature and fun in one of Ireland's six national parks awaits!

Once we've been driving for an hour, we'll make a short stop in the village of Leenane. You'll have some free time here to stroll through the quiet streets of this hillside village. If you're after a little energy boost, we recommend getting an Irish coffee or a whisky in one of the local pubs.

We'll then continue our journey to Ireland's only fjord. Killary Fjord also serves as a natural border between the counties of Galway and Mayo. Get ready for breathtaking views!

When we get to the village of Letterfrack, you'll have 2 hours of free time to explore the park. You'll be able to hike up to Diamond Hill via one of three available routes, each with different lengths and difficulty levels. Before you set off, you can also take a break to buy drinks and sandwiches.

After your 2-hour walk, we'll reconvene and start our return journey to Galway, driving along Connemara's coastline to admire the incredible views.

Before the end of the day, we'll pass through the Gaelic village of An Spidéal, where you'll have around 15 minutes of free time to stroll through the streets and see its typical thatched houses.

Our day trip will conclude when we drop you off in the centre of Galway at 5:30 pm and say our goodbyes.
