If you're after a pleasant day in the countryside, we've got it covered! On our Connemara & Diamond Hill Day Trip, you'll explore a beautiful natural area and walk around Diamond Hill at your leisure.

Connemara & Diamond Hill Day Trip

We will pick you up from the Hyde Hotel in Galway at 10 am and set off for Connemara, featuring nature and activities in one of Ireland's six national parks.

After an hour of driving, we will make a short stop in the village of Leenane, where you will have free time to stroll through the streets. For refreshments, you may choose to have an Irish coffee or whisky in a local pub.

Next, we'll head to Killary Fjord, Ireland's only fjord, which serves as a natural border between Galway and Mayo, offering breathtaking views.

Upon arriving in Letterfrack, you will have 2 hours of free time to explore the park and hike up to Diamond Hill via one of the three available routes. Each route varies in length and difficulty. You can also take a break to buy drinks and sandwiches before starting your hike.

After the hike, we will begin our return journey to Galway, driving along Connemara's coastline to admire the views. Before the day ends, we will pass through the Gaelic village of An Spidéal, allowing about 15 minutes for exploration of its thatched houses.

We will conclude our trip with a drop-off in the center of Galway at 5:30 pm.
