If you're after a pleasant day in the countryside, we've got it covered! On our Connemara & Diamond Hill Day Trip, you'll explore a beautiful natural area and walk around Diamond Hill at your leisure.

Connemara & Diamond Hill Day Trip

We'll pick you up from the Hyde Hotel in Galway at 10 am, setting off for Connemara. A day of nature and fun in one of Ireland's six national parks awaits!

After driving for an hour, we'll stop in the village of Leenane, where you'll have some free time to stroll through its streets. Local pubs offer Irish coffee or whisky for a little energy boost.

Next, we'll visit Killary Fjord, Ireland's only fjord, which serves as a natural border between Galway and Mayo, offering breathtaking views.

In the village of Letterfrack, you'll have 2 hours of free time to explore the park and hike up to Diamond Hill via one of three available routes, each with varying lengths and difficulties. Before hiking, you can purchase drinks and sandwiches.

After your walk, we'll return to Galway, driving along Connemara's coastline for stunning views.

We'll pass through the Gaelic village of An Spidéal, allowing for around 15 minutes of free time to see its typical thatched houses.

Our day trip concludes with drop-off in the centre of Galway at 5:30 pm.
